Creative Cafe Happy Hour October

For October, the Happy Hour project is by far my favorite yet.
It's a mini book filled with things that I am thankful for.
Seems the perfect time of the year to reflect on that, dontcha think?
This is a 4" board book, you choose the color and fill it with all the good stuff in your own life.
This is what mine is stuffed with...

This class is limited to 5 people per session and due to the number of classes and chaotic schedule in October we are only offering it twice, so act fast if you want a Thank Full Mini of your own.

Creative Cafe Happy Hour $12
Thursday, October 15th
6p - 7p

Tuesday, October 21st
6p - 7p

If anyone has a group of 5 people and would like a class of your very own to make this book, call and speak to Simone to schedule your very own private class.

CROP THIS FRIDAY!

There is an open crop this Friday, September 19th and we would love to see you there!

What is a crop? It is a time for crafters to get together with there own supplies and work on their own projects in our cropping space.

Why is a crop so fun? There are several reasons crops are so fun...1st off you get to meet other crafters like yourself. This is a great way to make new crafty friends and see some amazing projects and pages. Plus, there is no worries about food or cleaning up. We order the food, drinks and snacks, you just enjoy, we'll clean up at the end.

But I can just crop at home... Sure you can, but it is virtually impossible to hear the laundry pile or kids from the store, so you can scrap away without interruptions or distractions.

What time is the crop? I work til 6p. Well, the crop officially starts at 5:30p but you are welcome to use our space any time there is not a class in session and since this friday is completely open, you can technically scrap all day and night. We close at 11:30p on Friday just for croppers, everyone can shop only til 8p. And feel free to come and go as you please...you want to crop at 7p or leave at 10p, it's up to you.

Is there anything else special about the crop? Well, we do give away a prize every night we have a crop and there is also a small Make and Take project you are welcome to partake in, so that adds a little more fun.

What if I want to buy something or forget something, can I run a tab while I am there? Sure can! We will keep a tally for you all night and you can check out at the end so that we don't slow down your mojo. This is a great way to ensure that you can match your pictures and papers.

How many people can crop at once? We have a maximum of 12 seats. Yes, our space is slightly tight but we have had completely full crops (in fact a crop with 14) and we all cropped happily, in fact it almost guarantees friendship. Register early, food is based on the number of people and 12 spots can fill up fast.

If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to email Simone at simone at craftfancy dot com.
We hope to see you there!

New in Store!

The new KI Memories Sheer Delights are in the store now.
We have 9 versatile designs.
These are full 12x12 sheets that are shaped and resemble the Maya Road sheer albums but thinner.
I have a million ideas for these and have already taken my Bind It All to a sheet and it worked perfectly.
And now that the kids are all back in school, it's a great time to get scrapping them with these new papers from Creative Imaginations.
Those are matching stickers on top and they span from kindergarten to 12th grade.
Perfect for a whole school album!

Card Creations Class!

I will be showing everyone how to make these great cards this Thursday...

We'll be using the new Cornish Heritage Farms stamps to create this manly card.

A Maya Road sheer, some liquid applique and a Heidi Swapp blossom make this card super special.

I'm busting out the Scor-pal and demonstrating my very few skills with this amazing tool to make this all occasions card that also has a matching envelope!

Yes, we will be using glitter on this cute little cupcake birthday card.
And new double sided American Crafts ribbon that I love.

And to get you in the spooky mood of the season, we will be brewing up this little gate folded card with the cutest little skully.

I hope you can join me for this fun class, we only have a few spaces left.

Thursday, September 11th
5:30p - 7:30p
$20

Please bring a black ink pad, scissors and adhesive.

See you then!
